Annika Fredriksson - bassoon
Principal bassoon, Malmö Symphony Orchestra, since 1998, and lecturer of bassoon and chamber music at The Academy of Music, Malmö.

She got her education at the Royal Danish Academy of Music, Copenhagen and won her first job at 19 years. She has combined orchestral work and education, studied orchestral music in Hochschule für Musik in Mannheim. She earned her post-graduate diploma at The Royal Swedish Academy of Music, Stockholm.
As well as being a recurrent masterclass teacher in Sweden, Finland, Lithuania and Spain,
Annika is a certified coach (ACC) via the International Coach Federation, and she is passionate about boosting the self-esteem of young musicians.
She holds a grant from Lund University for her artistic and pedagogical work at the Malmö Academy of Music, focused on the developing and strengthening young musicians mentally through coaching, individually and in groups.
