Mateusz Kupski - trombone
Trombonist, graduate of music schools in Tarnowskie Góry and Bytom. He continued his studies on the instrument at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice in the class of Michał Mazurkiewicz, where he completed his master’s degree.
He became professionally connected with Szczecin, collaborating with the Mieczysław Karłowicz Philharmonic Orchestra, where he has been the first trombonist since 2014. He has collaborated with many Polish and international orchestras, including the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Gorzów Philharmonic, the Silesian Opera in Bytom, the Józef Elsner Philharmonic in Opole, and the I-Culture orchestra. As a chamber musician and soloist, he has taken part in many competitions, including:
9th National Competition of WInd Instruments Ensemble of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw – 2nd place with the Brass Quintet of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice
XII International Competition of Wind Instruments in Brno – III place in category IV
He is also a trombone teacher at the Feliks Nowowiejski Music School Complex in Szczecin.
